Environmental Award

The district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen has awarded the environmental prize every two years since 1993. It was last awarded in 2024.

With this award, the district honors exemplary initiatives in the field of environmental protection and nature conservation or if they serve to preserve our habitat. These can be all practical, organizational and journalistic activities in the entire field of nature and environmental protection, landscape conservation and recreation, pollution control, water and soil protection and waste disposal.

Individuals or groups of individuals can apply. Within the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen, they must pursue local or district-wide non-profit objectives of environmental protection, nature conservation and habitat preservation in a legally permissible manner. This can be in addition to public services or in lieu of public services.

An environmental award can be divided among several applications.

Information is contained in the guidelines. This will be published again with the announcement for the next Environmental Award.
