! Attention!
When selling your vehicle, the purchase contract with the exact address of the buyer and his confirmation of receipt of the registration certificate Part I and Part Il must be sent to the registration office.
- (1) :If the vehicle is scrapped, proof of utilization and ZBIl/vehicle registration document must be submitted. Decommissioning is also possible online via the citizen service portal (if the vehicle has not been scrapped).
- (2) : The license plates must be presented when reserving the license plate number as a whereabouts. If an old vehicle registration document (issued up to 30.9.2005) is available, it must be presented.
- (3) : For EC-typed vehicles, the presentation of the chain of custody document (type approval) is required
- (4): The ZB Il is not required for EU vehicle documents*.
- (5) : Proof of name for new identity card
- (6) : From 01.01.2015, the license plate can be retained when moving without changing the holder. The ZB II is not required for EU vehicle documents*. The ZB Il and the SEPA mandate are required for license plate changes,
- (7) : License plate change possible on request. License plate presentation is required.

- (9) : From 01.10.2019, the foreign license plate can be retained in the event of a change of owner. A license plate change is still possible on request - in this case, the license plate presentation is required.

The main residence or place of business of the applicant or the location of the vehicle must be in the district of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen. No valid HU/SP - exception possible.
- (16) :When a registration number I is issued for the first time (e.g. foreign vehicle) and when the export license plate is extended: The vehicle must be presented for an identity check, special insurance for export license plates, proof of ownership for foreign vehicles.
- (17) : When a registration certificate Il is issued for the first time (e.g. foreign vehicle): The vehicle must be presented for an identity check, special insurance for export license plates, proof of ownership for foreign vehicles.
- (18) : Expert opinion required in accordance with § 23 SIVZO (includes the new main inspection)
