The homepage of the District Office is designed to meet the requirements of digitalization and the connection of online services in Germany and Europe. The services of the District Office are based on the content of the Bavarian portal of the Free State of Bavaria. These services are supplemented by local information and forms as required. In this way, you can increasingly deal with your concerns digitally.

On this page you will find information on the structure and operation of the website. You will find information on the various digital identities that you can use to sign digitally.

The menu

  • Services A-Z

    The Free State of Bavaria assigns these tasks and services to the district office. Each service includes six to eight different administrative procedures.
    You will find information on your application, legal regulations, costs, procedures, required documents and the necessary forms in one place. Online services are highlighted in blue. You will also find additional sources for further reading.
    The contact point in the specialist department is also listed.

    You can use the site's search function or the large search under the magnifying glass to find the service that best suits your needs.

  • Online services

    If an online service has been created for your request, this means that you can prepare or complete it online. There is no need to go to the office.

  • Departments

    Our organizational structure. The District Office is divided into six departments. Each department has specialist areas that deal with your concerns. Click on a department to get an overview of the tasks and contact details.

Digitization

Use BayernID, BundID or MeinUnternehmenskonto to sign your online applications. You can also use them for secure communication with the district administration office.

  • BayernID

    BayernID is the user account of the Free State of Bavaria. A user name and password, Elster certificate or an ID card with online ID can be used to create the BayernID. The use of an ID card is required for many online processes.

  • BundID

    The federal user account becomes the DeutschlandID. You can create it here. The use of the online ID for identification is also recommended here. You will need this if an online service requires a "high" level of trust. The BundID is the basis of MeinJustizpostfach.

  • My judicial mailbox

    My judicial mailbox enables encrypted communication between you, the judiciary, authorities, lawyers, notaries and tax advisors at the highest level of security. See also Communication.

  • My company account

    For companies and organizations, i.e. legal entities, the Elster My Company Account is the right way to handle transactions online. The basis for this is the company's tax number.

  • "semi-digital"

    We call our processes "semi-digital", where you fill out a form online, upload your documents and then just print out a few pages, sign them and send them by post. We then receive your documents digitally and legibly. You confirm this with your signature by post.

  • Bavaria portal

    Administration Digital - The Bayernportal lists the tasks of all districts and municipalities in Bavaria. You will be taken directly to the appropriate authority. On this website, we provide the section for which the district office is the right point of contact. This is aimed at everyone, whether private individuals, associations, organizations or companies.

  • Service portal

    In the service portal, companies from all over Europe can find the right contacts and information to do business in Bavaria.

  • Federal portal

    The federal administration portal combines the content of the state portals of all the federal states, supplemented by tasks that are handled by the federal government itself. This allows private individuals and companies throughout Germany to find the right information point for their needs.

  • This homepage

    This homepage is reduced to the essentials. We provide you with up-to-date information on administrative procedures and life in the district in a compact format.

Pay

You can pay for some online transactions in advance.

  • Credit card

    All major credit cards are accepted (Visa, Master).

  • Paypal

    Use your Paypal account to pay for online transactions.

  • Other payment methods

    We are trying to find a replacement for giropay.

  • Paying at the office

    Im Amt bezahlen Sie am Kassenautomaten mit Bankkarte (ec-Karte) oder bar.

  • Paying an invoice

    Please use the data stated on the invoice. The reference number/reference is important. This is the only way we can allocate your payment to the transaction. Please do not combine invoices.

    The invoice contains a section for scanning or a QR code for your banking app.

FAQ about the website

  • Why is there no list of forms?

    One form does not make a complete application. As a rule, many things need to be taken into account. You will need additional documents, which may change depending on the information you enter. For this reason, the forms are assigned to the services so that you can read all the relevant information in a structured manner in one place.

  • Why is there no function to change colors, font and contrast?

    Our website meets the requirements of the BITV.
    responds to the requirements of your preferred Internet browser or Internet access program. Use the functions of your browser to adjust font sizes, contrast, etc. or use your screen reader.

  • Why are the extension numbers and e-mail addresses of the employees not listed?

    We have office hours regulations. During office hours, each specialist department has a telephone number and a mailbox. In personal communication, the clerks then state their personal extension number with the additional availability.

    Tip: Arrange telephone appointments!

  • Why do I have to unlock some content first?

    For some content, we load third-party content from providers or use their online services. This currently applies to maps, calls for tenders and some online services, currently applications for residence permits. In this way, we ensure that you can see where your information is going.

Technical assistance

  • Operating the website with the keyboard

    Depending on your computer's operating system and the software installed, there are various functions for navigating the website. You can usually navigate using the Tab key in combination with Control. You can move forwards in input fields with the Tab key and backwards with Capitalize and Tab. Use the Enter key to activate a link. Further functions can be found in the instructions for your system.

  • Search function

    Our search function is an AND search. If you enter several words in the search bar, you will first see the answers with all expressions, followed by the worse answers.

    In the answers you can choose between general content, services, forms and employees.
